The active reports are basic templates that allow a manager to filter a report by various criteria. Once the filter is done, the user can right click to choose which columns are required. They can also move the columns and group the report by columns. Finally, when their report is set they can save the report for future use. The report can be exported to file, XML or excel or e-mailed. This reporting feature gives the user a huge amount of flexibility. Ad-hoc reports can be generated using Crystal Reports.
