The USeDirect Finance Solution interfaces POS accounting data financials
The cash is collected at the POS however the system of record is typically an external accounting system. Data from the POS needs to flow into the accounting system. In a typical POS environment Items are sold at various locations at different prices and sometimes with different taxes. POS systems keep detailed transaction history; however the General Ledger only requires items by groupings based on specific business rules (GAAP and enterprise specific rules and structures). Finance Dynamics enables the mapping of the POS to an accounting system that allows for the interface of the data.
